If you are an undergrad or graduate student, studying aquatic research or plastic pollution you can apply for our scholarships that include participation in one of our scientific expeditions collecting microplastic surface water samples.  

The scholarships covers all the expenses for the full week on the boat (participation fee, food & drinks). Travel costs and food & drinks on land are not covered.

During the week you will be trained on how to use the manta trawl system to collect microplastic samples, fill out the data sheets, receive daily lectures about plastic pollution and marine ecology, explore the underwater world while snorkeling, and learn your first sailing skills.
